And alongside the hot tub: your own chiminea. Every cottage has a private outdoor chiminea on its deck — a standing wood-burning fireplace built for romantic evening fires. Light it before sunset, let it burn down through dinner, sit by it in the hot tub afterwards. We provide the firewood and starter materials.
The combination — hot tub + chiminea + Hill Country sky overhead + no other guests anywhere near your deck — is what most couples come back for. It’s not something you experience at a shared inn. Walk to dinner on the Square. The historic Wimberley Square is under a mile from your cottage on foot — restaurants, wine bars, live music, the legendary Wimberley Market Days (first Saturday of every month). Leave the car. Walk in. Walk back to the hot tub on your deck.
Drive if you prefer. Free parking at your cottage. The Square is a two-minute drive if you’d rather not walk — and you’ll still be home in five minutes after.
Grill out on your private deck. Every cottage has its own private BBQ grill. Stop at the grocery before you arrive, plan a steak-and-wine night, fire up the grill, eat on the deck. Light the chiminea afterwards. The hot tub closes the evening.
Cook in your full kitchen. Every cottage has a full kitchen with cookware, dishware, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove, and oven. If your romantic evening involves cooking together — pasta from scratch, breakfast in bed the next morning, anything — you have the kitchen for it.
